Why We March
In the spirit of the Longest Walk of 1978 and following in the footsteps of the brave men and women who traveled from Selma to Montgomery, we’ll walk from Independence Hall to the U.S. Capitol this September. A core team of 50–100 will cover the full route, and we invite all Americans to join for a mile, a morning, or a day.
With every step, we send a clear message: democracy endures when ordinary people unite. This march challenges unchecked power and rekindles America’s promise of freedom.
