Kid Constitution
The Kid Constitution was a collaborative effort among more than 55 children, aged three to seventeen, across 20 states and Washington DC. Each child transcribed and interpreted a segment of this critical work.
Across the political spectrum, we all claim to defend the Constitution. But few have actually read it, let alone understand it. The Kid Constitution is a commitment to understanding our founding document, the blueprint for our country, by explaining it to our kids.

Each time WAAM marches from Philadelphia to DC, we carry the Kid Constitution. In the Preamble, our forefathers promise: “Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” Our children have inherited this promise. Come, study the Constitution with our kids. There’s much to learn — from the text itself and from our kids’ interpretations. This is their future that we’re debating. Our children are watching and now they are speaking; it's time that we listened.
